Garden Pathways
Long before there were balance sheets, there were stories. And the oldest stories knew something the spreadsheet has always forgotten.
Long before the ledger, the fairy tale. And in the oldest tales — the ones told by firelight before the world grew loud and rational and afraid of its own imagination — gold was never merely currency.
It was light made solid. It was the sun held in the hand, the radiance of what is most true, the outward sign of an inner luminosity that belonged, always, to the one brave enough to follow the thread through the dark forest and trust what waited on the other side.
We have forgotten this.
Somewhere in the long march toward spreadsheets and strategies and five-step financial plans, we lost the thread that connects the numbers on the page to the life beating beneath them.
We learned to treat money as a problem to be solved rather than a story to be understood. We learned that the feelings money arouses — the shadow, the wonder, the wild irrational hope, the perplexity we cannot quite name when we look at our accounts, and sometimes the sheer surprise of our own reaction — are obstacles to good financial thinking rather than the very doorway into it.

Your relationship with money
is not a math problem.
It is a myth — a living, breathing story as ancient and as personal as your own blood, woven from everything from family to community, whispered words, silent thoughts , fears and dreams about abundance before you were old enough to know you were listening.
It lives in the way you recall how voices changed when money was mentioned. In the stories that you gleaned from society told — or information that wasn’t shared — about what was possible for people like you. In the fairy tales that taught you, long before you ever opened a bank account, whether gold was something you deserved or something to fear.
You have been living inside this story your entire financial life.
You have been making decisions from within it — reaching for more, pulling back from abundance, undercharging, over-giving, lying awake at 3am with questions that no financial planner has ever been able to answer — because these are not financial questions. They are mythic ones. They are questions about identity and worthiness and inheritance and belonging. And they require a different kind of conversation than the one most of us have ever been offered.
This is that conversation.
✦ ✦ ✦
Sometimes a client arrives
thinking they want to talk about money.
And sometimes — often — they discover that money was simply the doorway. The thing visible enough, urgent enough, concrete enough to finally bring them to the threshold. But what lives behind the door is older and larger and more luminous than any balance sheet could contain.
It is the question of Value.
Not market value. Not net worth. But the deeper, more ancient question that money has always been quietly asking on behalf of the soul:Do I believe I am worth it? Worth the abundance. Worth the rest. Worth the price I am afraid to charge, the dream I keep deferring, the inheritance I feel guilty receiving.
In the Garden of Gold, we follow the thread wherever it leads. A session that begins with a pattern around money may move — quite naturally, quite inevitably — into a conversation about creative worth, about relational value, about the inherited story that told you your presence in the world needed to be perpetually earned rather than simply, completely, offered.
All of it is connected.
All of it is the same story told in different rooms of the same house.

You are not here to be fixed.
You are already whole— more whole than the story you have been living inside would have you believe. The work of the Garden is not the work of repair.
It is the work of remembering — of recovering the thread that leads back to your own luminosity, of learning to read your financial life as the rich and complex and ultimately hopeful myth that it is.
The garden gate is open.
The four seasons of this work are waiting.
Your money story is ready to be told differently.
Not because something is wrong with you.
But because something in you already knows there is more.
